Supporting children and young people to feel heard

Compassionate Counselling
About Brighter Voices Counselling
Brighter Voices Counselling offers calm, person-centred counselling for young people aged 11–25
Young people often come to counselling feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low in confidence, or struggling with school, friendships or life changes. My role is to help them feel heard, understood and supported, at a pace that feels right for them.
I believe every young person deserves a space where they feel listened to, respected and taken seriously.
My approach is warm, calm and person-centred, supporting children and young people aged 11–25 to explore their thoughts and feelings safely.
I have extensive experience working with young people and alongside families, schools and other professionals, with a strong focus on safeguarding and emotional wellbeing.
My approach is warm, calm and child-centred. Sessions are collaborative and supportive, helping young people:
-
Understand their emotions
-
Develop healthy coping strategies
-
Build confidence and resilience
-
Feel more in control of their wellbeing
Where helpful, I can also involve parents or carers and offer guidance on how to support the young person outside sessions.
